A staple of fine Japanese teas.  The leaves are processed using a method known as 'Asamushi' in which they are lightly steamed.  This produces the distinctive flavor characteristic of quality Sencha: buttery, pleasing light bring of the ocean, with notes of steamed greens and nori.
